true love (poetry)

I Learned:about true love, when i read the bible and saw how a loving God carefully crafted a wonderful world and took delight in it.

I Learned:about true love when i read how God created human beings in his own image to populate this world and live in a perfect relationship with him.

I Learned:about true love when i read how God fiercely hung on to us when we decided we'd prefer prefer to live without him.

I Learned:about true love, when i read how god sent his only son to save all who were willing to turn back to him--the most unbelievable act of love ever imagined. Jesus, the son of god, died on our behalf so we could be saved.

I experienced true love when i gave my heart to Jesus. His willingness and his desire to live in and through me, has so changed my life that it is like being born again.
